Basic Blackjack Payout

Online blackjack payout has by and large been standardized across online blackjack games, barring minor variations. Every deal played results in a blackjack payout depending on the options exercised by the player. In a simple online blackjack game the payout for winning is even money. If the player wagers $2, he will retain this amount and get a further $2 from the dealer. If the player loses then he will forfeit his $2 stake to the dealer. In most online blackjack casinos, a blackjack is a two card hand totaling to 21. One card is an ace and the other a card of value 10 (that is ten or a picture card). The blackjack pays at 3: 2. If the wager is $2 the dealer pays $3. At one time the blackjack payout used to be greater in order to attract customers. Now some online blackjack casinos have reduced the blackjack payout to 6:5.

Blackjack Payout for Special Options

Online blackjack has some special options for players. The online blackjack payout system for these special options is slightly different. If the dealer is dealt an Ace the player can take Insurance in online blackjack. The Insurance is a side bet that wins if the dealer subsequently gets a blackjack. The stake for the insurance is half the stake for the main bet and the BJ payout is 2:1. The blackjack payout for the main bet is as indicated above. Double Down is an option available in online blackjack. If the player feels he has a good chances of winning, he can double his stake, but is compelled to take one additional card. After exercising Double Down the blackjack payout is even money. The Split option in online blackjack is somewhat similar to Double Down. If a player is dealt a matched pair the he can split his hand into two. He places another stake identical to the original and plays two hands for which the blackjack payout is decided independently.

Online Payout

The online blackjack payout to the customers is a different concept. It concerns how the winnings are transferred to the customer after he has completed playing. The rules for this are not governed by online blackjack rules but have been laid down by each online casino for their operations. This online payout is usually made by periodic transfers to the customer’s credit card, though other methods are also possible.
